Saturday, September 25th marks the five-year anniversary of this little site. Can you believe it?
By my count, 1700+ entries are published here; perhaps 300 more were lost (permanently or not so permanently) in 2007. That’s a whole lot of typing, and I hope that at least some of it has been helpful, instructive, and/or amusing to you.
To celebrate the half-decade mark I’ve got some small gifts to give away from Fascinations and I’m going to make you work to get them:

Your blog was the first blog I ever read. You’ve shocked me, intrigued me, made me think, made me cry, made me laugh and most of all, you’ve shone me it’s not “weird” to be sexually forward. I hope you’ll be going strong with the blog and life in years to come!

As someone who has been reading your stories for most of that time, congratulations are in order for sticking with it–not only with the blog, but also with all the changes in your life since 2005. And with your kids. Bravo!
Also my first (and only) Blog I read, Lots of useful info about toys, sites, other blogs (if only I had that kinda time) . I would never know about Janes guide if it weren’t for you.

Yours was the first blog I read. The name ‘sweat shop sissy’ came to me as I was commenting on one of your posts (our 4th anniversary is this week). Yours is one of the few blogs I still read every day. And why do I still do that? Well, that’s the answer to your question,…
What I’ve learned is the really good blogs…the kind that keep you coming back…the kind I hope sss is are the blogs that show an evoltion of the blogger. When we write these blogs, we create a persona. Yes it’s part of who we are, but still, it’s a charater and showing that character evolving is a challenge.
Here’s an example: The thing that really amazed me about the Harry Potter books was that those kids really aged. How they spoke and dealt with problems and interacted with friends changed as they got older. That is really hard to do. And you my dear, do it admirably.
So there you go…AAG is the J.K.Rowling of sex bloggers!
