I’m almost tempted to throw this on my favorite gun forum, and see how many things they can find wrong with this picture. Clearly there’s a lack of “muzzle pointed in a safe direction” and a lack of “no fingers inside the trigger guard”.
The worst part is that you see behavior this bad, or worse, on a gun range every single weekend. At least in the picture it doesn’t appear he’s likely to shoot anyone but himself.

Hmmm. Aside from not having the guns pointed safely downrange, and having his fingers on the triggers, (both serious no-nos) it does not appear that he is wearing his ear protectors. And while we only see a portion of one ear, it seems unlikely that he is wearing eye protection.
I am on that site too and we have seen a few even more scary than that. One of them we actually reported to the site admin because ALL his pictures had huge knives and guns, plus some scary profile writting. They never did anything about it.

Wow. I’m just seeing this now. Not the best thing to put on a profile pic. Sure, 2nd Amendment and all, great, ra ra ra, but don’t make people think you’re a gun nut with your pic and scare them away!
I don’t see anything wrong with having guns in your profile picture. Just make sure that you look like your IQ is higher than your caliber, OK? Muzzles pointed DOWNRANGE. Ear and eye protection OBVIOUS. The guy (or gay) should try to at least APPEAR responsible. The goal is to look like CONTROLLED violence, not DANGEROUS violence.
(Full disclosure; I’m a Life Member of the NRA and a retired military officer who has never fired a weapon at any living target. I’m sudden death to silhouette targets, though!)

However, it could have been a “freudian slip”; as a retired military officer, I do in fact support the repeal of “Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell”, and Obama’s waffling on this has pissed off people on both sides of the issue.
