Child, whispering: Mommy?

Me, head under covers: Mmmm?

Child: Mommy, my bulva hurts.

Me, reading clock through one slightly open eye: Why does your bulva hurt at 5:30 in the morning?

Child: I don’t know! It hurts when I push on it.

Me: Then stop pushing on it and go back to bed!

Child: But I’m not sleepy.

Me: Then just stop pushing on it.

Child: Ok. I’ll go play now and give my bulva some rest.

Me: Good plan.
