Recently I’ve noticed weekend posts on other blogs wherein the author asks readers to share that week’s favorite entries in the comments. I love the idea of folks pointing out great stuff that might otherwise go un- or under-noticed, so from now (until the idea no longer tickles my fancy) you can watch this space for Sunday Brag-Alongs.
It really couldn’t be simpler. Give us a link-n-blurb in the comments below. Your suggestion can be from your own blog or from someone else’s. It can be about sexuality or pretty much any other topic. Exceptions include erection pills, European lotteries, dead relatives who left you millions of inaccessible dollars or garage doors. What, isn’t everybody getting garage door spam these days? No? It’s just me? Wtf?
Your suggested link-n-blurb doesn’t even have to be a post. Run across a comment thread that you love? Or loathe? Or that needs more feedback? Leave the link, tell us why it’s interesting and we’ll visit. Oh trust me. We’ll visit.
So pick out your favorite bit of wit or wisdom from this past week and post it below. I’ll start…

This post from Beyond the Birds and the Bees breaks my heart.
Read it and give the author some props for being kick-ass despite some horrific experiences in her past.
Oh, and I’m still pretty much speechless about this and the ensuing comments on a post about Playing Hard to Get.
Someone, please enlighten me. I must be missing something, because I don’t get it.
Someone else’s that I’d like to point out is this one from Roxy at Uncommon Curiosity.
It also syncs up with how I felt upon seeing the commercials for a show on the Fox Reality channel called “Battle of the Bods”. Talk about taking the self esteem of 98% of the tv-watching women and kicking it, wringing it dry and then laughing at it. Or something.
And then this one if I may be so bold as to point out one of my own, it’s about a fellow blogger gal whom I just adore. And her enabler husband.
Thanks Lilly! Going to check them out…
I found this video posted by my Live Journal friend serene_orange sage and entertaining: http://serene-orange.livejournal.com/752609.html
So I was browsing through Etsy and found these fantastically sexy hoodie tags…though I simply don’t wear hoodies so mine would have to be a pendant! ;)

Oh man! I so need a dildo hoodie tag!
Personally, I really liked the strap-on tag ;)

and the following one

arouse me with their candor and directness and the “fly on the wall” writing.. I can imagine being there, and I can practically hear her passion…

Thanks for sharing the space for some link love! I’d like to brag along about starting a new Sex Education column, and would love some comments on my work so far. I put Beyond the Birds and the Bees in my blogroll over there too, so after you’ve read my stuff, double back and give Ms. AAG some return traffic while you’re at it.
Here’s the link (any other great Sex Ed resources or news I should know about?): http://tinyurl.com/SexyEd
Thanks! I’m also on Twitter @Sexaminer if anyone’s interested. ;)
Love,
Sarah
This is my favorite blog post of the day: http://dangerouslilly.com/2009/07/confessional-her-husband/
Re: the Playing Hard to Get post and comments… Can’t explain it, but I do think it’s more reason that instead of “no means no” the campaign SHOULD be “yes means yes”. Highly recommend the book Yes Means Yes: Visions of Female Sexual Power and A World Without Rape by Jaclyn Friedman and Jessica Valenti. I’ve just started it, but it’s great so far.
I struggle a lot with the required disconnect of my anonymous blog. That’s why I love this, from over at Free Advice Is Worth What You Pay For It.
I just read the “Playing Hard To Get” post and the comments that followed (speechless as well) and it brought to mind this post I’d come across-
