While waiting for the school buses to arrive (about a half hour after school closed, returning from having taken middle schoolers home) I took &quot;orders&quot; from other kids.  While they played rather than standing boringly in &quot;line&quot;, I&#039;d step out of sight of the teachers, cross the state route that ran by the school (no traffic light nor pedestrian crossing) over to a strip mall.  Into the pharmacy, over to the candy counter, filled the orders and return.  

First time I was called to a principals office, for running candy!  LOL

Of course I grew up into a straight-laced adult (well, only as far as artificial stimulants are concerned).</description>
