Whatever I’m doing through the day I’ll be thankful for the many blessings this past year has brought, including good health, stable relationships and enough work to put dinner on the table. I am deeply grateful for the part all of my readers have played in my life thus far.

What am I grateful for? That George Bush won’t be President in 53 days, 23 hours and 36 minutes
I’m thankful that a bad employment chapter of my life closed, but that I was able to continue into the next page with the same plot, almost all of the recurring characters I knew and loved, and a new plot twist that gets more interesting with each passing day.
I’m thankful that I have the mental and emotional wherewithal to mostly muddle through having two loved ones in and out of the hospital constantly for the last two months.
I’m thankful to make the acquaintances of a particularly lovely set of sexbloggers, present company included.
And perhaps most of all – I’m thankful for a guy who loves me, even when the chips are down.

ver here in Blighty, we have anguished debates about having a “National Day”, but we have so many options. We could have Trafalgar Day (piss off the French), VE Day (piss off the Germans) – we’re just spoilt for choice, really.
However, I think Thanksgiving is a splendid idea for a public holiday, and I wouldn’t be averse to it being adopted here. As it is, I just have to give thanks for the good things in my life in a more private fashion.

I’m thankful for my beautiful wife, who is also my best friend. She keeps me sane in a crazy world, and I’m very lucky to have her. She also doesn’t seem to mind me visiting kinky websites. ;-)
