Rounding Things Up

If you're new here, you may want to subscribe to my RSS feed. You could also get new content delivered directly to your inbox. Thanks for stopping by!

  • Babeland All-Stars Swag Contest entries need to be sent to me by Monday, September 15th at 12:01am.  Rules are here.  I’ve received only twenty-odd entries at this point.  I’ll be choosing my five favorites for voting next week.  These sound like pretty good odds to me.  Get to writing!
  • Your Girlfriend’s Diary recently published a review of this site.  Check it out; leave him a comment with your opinion.  Or leave me a comment with your opinion.  Or leave both of us a comment with your opinion.  You know, just comment.  Because I’m interested to know if y’all think this site is in its “autumn.”
  • Audacia Ray’s Live Girl Review Episode 3 is up. It’s always such a pleasure to hear her take on books, toys and sexy events.
  • There’s a new series on the EdenFantasys.com blog called Live.Love.Cancer, written by The Butterfly Temptress, in which she details how her diagnosis of cancer has affected her life and intimate relationships.  Parts One and Two are up now; they are definitely worth reading.  There’s a button in the article which will allow you to make a donation, if you’d like, toward her ongoing treatment.  EdenFantasys.com will match all donations received until November 18th, so a $10 donation turns magically into $20 through the generosity of EF.  Very cool.

autumn? as in .. i am 38, therefore my leaves must be dropping? Piffle. This blogs reads as an extension of your life, which appears to be one of the busiest around, yet you consistently write with humour and grace. You may (rightly) be weary at times, but your presence on the net is always vital and energetic.

I am so pleased you introduced me to TSM - i am constantly giggling at his peculiar style.

If you’re in your autumn, does that me I can FALL for you?

dun dun chhh!

I<3 you, your blog, and am so jealous of your Esse. Not entering the contest because my sex toys are chasing me out of house and home!

But I still read you everyday!

I discovered the site about a month ago. You write with a very human quality that I really enjoy.

As I have kids myself, it fun to watch other people with kids that aren’t mine! ;-)

A very thoughtful and fair review. AAG I have enjoyed your blog since almost the beginning, thanks for sharing. Autumn is here, I just think nobody will say out loud.

I don’t know about “autumn.” I sure hope not if that means you’ll be leaving.

I have been reading the site for a bit over two years now, and it has definitely changed… but not for the worse I don’t think. I always liked the saying “Sex is like air, it’s no big deal unless you aren’t getting any.” I think that once your sexual needs were being fulfilled, you have less need to put them out there daily. Those holes left by the sex-talk absence are being filled by talk of other things, and I think I speak for most of us when I say we’re glad to read whatever you put out there.

As I said in the comment I left at YGD, I don’t believe this blog is in its autumn. Your life and your blog have evolved and your writing reflects that. I have happily been along for the ride. :-)

I think the real question is, do YOU think your site is in its autumn?

re: Babeland swag. Can we submit more than one story, if struck by inspiration?

I agree with mountain girl. Your site is evolving. This is a reflection of a journey and by writing, you make a difference in peoples lives everyday. What more could one ask?

I am amazed at the various blog and site writers of this nature. You are all very deep, sensual, and not at all shallow. I’ve seen quotes of Shakespeare, and other great writers of the age.

I always cum away hard and refreshed and satisfied in my own Type-A fast moving mind. Keep going. Your efforts at raising a family while looking, giving, and receiving love, lust, and sex are dynamic.

It’s Autumn - bah - I just don’t think so.

I can see why he drew the conclusion that this site is in it’s autumn. I’ve been reading a few years or more - From your HNT days and before separation. To me this site has been about your sexual journey from being a frustrated wife to being a single mother who has a rich, satisfying sex life. We got to see you trying new things, fulfilling sexual fantasies in intimate detail. Lately there seems to be less an emphasis on your sexual encounters and more about sexual matters in general, with a greater percentage of the other areas of your life.

It is the nature of things to change. You’ve changed. You aren’t (or don’t give the impression anymore of) a sex-starved woman in search of a sex life. That isn’t bad, nor is it good. It just is. I get the impression he misses the old AAG.

Well dear AAG, I’m sticking with my comments at the review blog, but I’ll throw this out there for what it is worth - depending on the style of a blog and the “story” at hand I think blogs have a narrative arc if you like - the set up, the characters, the obstacle to be overcome, the conflict, the struggle, the outcome, the resolution etc - it’s what can make blogs fascinating. Mine is more of a scrapbook with snippets kind of pasted in, not much angst, less arc :) perhaps not so fascinating…

Of course the beauty of the idea of “Autumn” is that it is followed by Winter which is followed by Spring which is followed by…it’s circular!

I am a bit late catching up with bloggy stuff, but I left a comment on your review over at YGD. At present it is awaiting moderation.

I said:

“Ah, the wide spectrum of speculation through to utter conviction that all here know what AAG’s blogging intentions, motivations and true nature might be.

What a load of old cock.”

And I stand by it.

( I am wildly irritated by statements of absolute authority by those who know diddly shit fuck all. This may be more about me than it is about you though.)

Luka,

As I’ve said before, I love you. Will you marry me?

:)

Yes, yes, a thousand times yes!

(Bring toys)

I’m gettin’ married, I’m gettin’ married!
