August is the Busiest Month

If you're new here, you may want to subscribe to my RSS feed. You could also get new content delivered directly to your inbox. Thanks for stopping by!

This August has been arguably the busiest month I’ve ever experienced.  Preparing for the start of school and enjoying the last bits of summer vacation have taken up lovely chunks of time.  Watching muscular men and women work their bodies also has stolen hours of my attention.

Then there are the small matters of sleep and personal hygiene that I’ve had to address.

But by far my most time consuming activity of this month has been work.  I’m both flattered and (occasionally) overwhelmed by the folks who ask for my work.  I thank them most sincerely for keeping my little family in gallons of milk, size five diapers, grapes, plums, nectarines, apples, red pears and chicken nuggets.  My children pass on their sticky-fingered messy-shirted thanks as well.

What precisely have I been up to?  Well let me tell you:

  • I enjoyed some long-awaited quality time with Njoy’s shiny new Eleven.

I have a copy of The Orgasm Loop: The No-Fail Technique for Reaching Orgasm During Sex to give away.  Know someone who could get some use out of this book?

–and–

I also have a copy of Tantra for Erotic Empowerment I’d be happy to give to a good home.

Email me at aagblog at gmail if you’d like one of these books, please?  If I have more than one request for a book, I’ll randomly draw a winner from the emails I receive by 12:01 am Sunday, August 24th.

Thank you!

Sounds like a wonderfully busy month! I only wish I could say the same of mine. Perhaps if I had a book on orgasms or tantra…that might help.

By the way, you posted a while ago about whether it seemed inappropriate to blog about sex and motherhood side by side, and I wanted to offer my resounding “No!” I think it’s very refreshing to hear from a mother who, having procreated, still finds some use for what brought that about. Being a mom and enjoying sex are both a part of you now, and I think it’s great that you show such enthusiasm for either subject. Cheers!

I am nothing if not enthusiastic. :)

I have been crazy busy since the beginning of August. I thought it was something just localized in my house. I’ll be glad when vacation is over so I can get back to work and rest!

I have a love/hate relationship with August. The last bit of summer is always blissful, then that initial rush into school always terrifies me…

those books sound awesome!
I can’t wait for september though. My birthday, and cooler weather :p

This is a random comment, but… I just noticed today (somehow) that you have stopped posting pictures of flowers with each of your posts. Was there a reason for this?

Just wondering!

Yes, there is a very good reason for this. If I continued to photograph, edit and post flower pictures, I’d no longer have time for showers and my children would no longer want to sit on my lap anymore. Something had to give. :) –aag

I too am a mother and find that August is a wonderful month. The start of school, the sales to shop, and knowing cooler weather is on the way!!–Lollie

Cool…glad you found a book on Tantra you like. Tantra is more of a way of life than a quick fix. Cool.

I’m also happy you are finding your way. You sound great.

Oh god. School. What a major end to summer!

Well, who am I to turn away something that needs a good new home?

Tantra practice anyone?

Hi.

I’ve been lurking around your site for months but I had to step out of the shadows tonight. I am interested in the Orgasm Loop book.

Despite my best efforts (and I have been trying), I can’t have orgasms during vaginal intercourse; I only have them by clitoral stimulation. It’s a little frustrating but I’ve learnt to deal with it. However, I am open to new things and maybe the book can help.

Anyway, just wanted to ask. I do enjoy your writing and I hope you continue.

Stay strong,
“Sam”

I have a girlfriend who could really use the books. I hope for her sake I win! August is really and truly bittersweet! Please keep up your writing.

K

Please send email if you want a chance to win either of the books. I have quite a few people interested.

:)

I’d be up for some tantra practice.

AAG,

I sit before you, humbly on my knees, begging for the orgasm book. I was abused as a child, and to survive, I turned off all feeling below the waist. I am desperate to figure out how to turn it back on. I’m a 49 year old woman and have only orgasmed a handful of times with someone else in the room. I can do it by myself in three minutes, so I know it is not physiological.

I have recently started dating a wonderful man. We have not had sex yet, hoping to establish some lovely bonds of trust and love, first. How I would love to reward his patience with some authentic yelping, writhing, and vaginal contractions.

Email me!

Am I too late? I’d LOVE the orgasm loop book. If not, I think I’m going to need to buy it.
