Fingers are great – mine or someone else’s – but a good buzzy toy won’t give me carpal tunnel quite as fast. :D

And, since the toy has no nerve endings providing running feedback into my brain, it’s a little bit of that ‘ooh, someone else touching me’ feeling when I might not have time for someone else touching me.

I find I forget that pleasure as well, relying instead on the toy of the moment that has caught my fancy. A dear friend and I discussed this same topic just a week ago over wine, she described it as “going old school” without the use of toy of some sort, how it made us feel so young again.
