Just for grins, I decided to tally up the hours in October that I’d spent in various activities. All times are approximate.

341 Supervising children
30 Working for Jane
10 Writing Fleshbots
60 With Customers on Live Chat
40 Blog writing and maintenance
248 Sleeping
12 Cleaning
8 Shopping
30 Socializing (including sex)
10 Personal Hygiene

Total Time Spent Doing Stuff in October: 789 Hours

Actual Time Available in October: 744 Hours

Huh. Willya lookit that.

Is it any wonder that I’m so blinkin’ tired?

My guess is that while you were doing those other things, you were likely ALSO supervising children at the same time. At least that’s the way it works with me.

Personal hygene 10 hours????? Is that like brushing your teeth, and doing your toe nails? I think if you are measuring the time it takes to brush your teeth, you may have waaay too much time on your hands. Oh, and by the way, you need more socializing (including sex). So let’s re-structure, cut back to 7.5 hours of sleep per day, that will give you 15.5 more hours of sex!

I see 30 hrs allotted for “Socializing”…So,,there were 10 hrs of sex, during the entire month?…Funny, but I seem to remember more than that….

Dont spend too much time on your toddlers - I read somewhere that motherhood is all about spending the first two years teaching our children how to walk and talk, and the next sixteen to sit down and shut up!

10 hours in a month on personal hygiene? You need to shift some priorities to get some Calgon moments…….personally I’d give up sleep for a nice long hot soak. But that’s just me
