Is it too early to start asking for holiday presents? December is but four months away. I’ve already got a list going, and every time my avaricious eldest child begs for a toy, I roll my eyes and tell her to put it on her list.

I could put this item on my Christmas list…but I might need it before then.

However…there are plenty of holidays between now and Christmas, right? Maybe it could be a gift for Labor Day!

Oh lookie! September is Be Kind to Editors and Writers Month! I could use a gift for that!

Or…September 14th is National Cream Filled Donut Day. Somehow, this seems like a fitting present to commemorate such an occasion.

Or you could buy it for me as a way to help celebrate Be Late for Something Day. ‘Cause having this gift would almost certainly make me late for something.

And what is this holiday present that’s got me salivating with lust?

It’s lube. A whole lotta lube. A gallon of lube, ’smatterafact.

A gallon of lube?

Yeah, that should last for about a weekend.

So, um, anyone want to buy this for me? For Talk Like a Pirate Day, perhaps?

ID Glide also comes in 1-Gallon jugs, with a pump top for easy application!

I was chatting to a friend who works in an adult (read: sex) store and she says that the organizers of swingers clubs/parties buy them all the time.

Somehow your post has inspired me to go to such a store, grab one of those, and during idle chit chat while the cashier rings it through I’d say

“Yeah I’m hoping this jug will last my boyfriend and I at least a week”

I always pictured your bedroom much like a Jiffy Lube, with one of the lube dispensers hanging from the ceiling. When you need lube you pull down the retractable rubber hose and squeeze the handle.

I really like the flavored Sliquids, but they are water-based lubes.

Wet Platinum is silicon-based, which I very much prefer.

I used to buy the ID gallons, and go through about one every year or so, but it turns out I have a skin reaction to water based lubes. I buy the ID Millennium now, which is silicon based, and the largest I can find is a 16 oz pump bottle.

Man, I wish they made babelube in gallons! I get the 16oz pump bottle, but even that goes quick. ‘Specially when your putting your hand in a bum.

I buy everything I can in bulk. Food for my rats (Two five pound bags), bedding for the rats (5 cubic feet of aspen) and if I could get lube by the gallon as well…I’d be set.

I could just see that treck home from the city. I’d have to bring a donkey to carry it all home.

Lubery.com also sells lube by the gallons on a couple of the brands (and usually cheaper than most around). I know we go through about 2 gallons a year of the ID Glide water based. :)
