I know everyone always advises using a safe word, and my boyfriend and I have one in place, but honestly, I’ve never even come close to using it. When you and your partner know each other and each other’s bodies really well, as it sounds like you and your friend do, you don’t even have to tell him if you’re uncomfortable–he just knows.
