Just for fun, I decided to show you the progression one of these pictures takes from straight outta the camera to fully edited. Here’s something I took a few weeks ago:
The original picture. You can see a bit of my house in the background. Don’t try to increase the size and see the house numbers. It’s the back of the house.
Cropped. Does anyone really need to see the clothesline???
Removed pollen, bug bites, weird spots. Yeah, they are only visible to me…and annoying to me.
Toned down brightness and increased contrast to show markings on main flower more.
Decided original crop sucked. Recropped.
Added a sepia filter and it’s done.
Here’s the original picture for comparison.
Any suggestions from those of you who are much more into this photography thing?
